Carter Haulage and Storage of Norfolk have responded to a rising trend in the weight of construction plant used by customers for their growing heavy-haulage business by adding a 125 tonne GCW, Euro 4 compliant Volvo FH16-660 into their 14-strong, mixed fleet.
The first batch of new Volvo FE’s in the UK has gone into service with Veolia Environmental Services (UK) Plc, the UK’s leading waste management provider. The order for the eight new FE’s consisted of six FE-240, 4x2 18-tonne GVW skiploaders and two FE-280, 28-tonne GTW drawbars which are coupled to two-axle trailers.
Major Scottish haulage contractor Yuill and Dodds has taken delivery of a new Iveco Trakker, marking the first Iveco eight wheeler to be operated by the Hamilton-based company.
